I recently had Green Knight Metal Roofing install a new standing seam metal roof and gutters on my 2 story home. The experience was professional and top notch from start to finish. They worked with me on the price and were more than fair on a couple of minor last minute changes/additions. The work was completed on time (just over a week) and all of my concerns (even the nit-picky ones) were fully addressed by the team. My house looks awesome! What a great team! We used Green Knight to install a metal roof on our 60 year old house. From the initial sales consult to the final walkthrough they were professional and communicated clearly. They were able to answer all of our questions promptly and help us chose the right roof for us. The crew doing the installation were very careful and my new roof is BEAUTIFUL! I felt like I was in good hands the whole time and would recommend them for sure. Green Knight was great! We would definitely use them again. Michael, the sales rep, was helpful and knowledgeable about all the options! We had to wait several months for instillation due to supply chain issues, but our roof was worth the wait. The whole experience was great! Ismael, the contractor, texted me daily updates and photos of the progress. After the instillation I noticed the leaf guards were not reinstalled, and they came out quickly to fix the issue. We love our new metal roof, and have had lots of compliments from friends and neighbors.

GKMR (Mark) came out to provide an estimate and was great to work with. We found their metal roof prices to be competitive and we liked that they focused only on metal roofs. It took about 6-7 months from signing until installation but the delay was caused by Covid related supply issues. They provided updates along the way and were always quick to respond to my emails. They even came out to do repairs while waiting on our supplies for the install. Ismael and his crew were very considerate while taking measurements inside my home and were flexible to accommodate our schedules. Install occurred while we were on vacation. We found a few minor issues which Ismael and his crew fixed. All in all it was a smooth process. Really glad we went with a metal roof and won’t have to worry about a replacement for decades.

Just had a Green Knight put a metal roof on my house and it's been a smooth process. I really appreciated their regular communication, especially since there was several months between signing the contract and the roof installation. I would receive an email every couple of weeks letting me know that I was still in the que and I had not been forgotten. Then a walk thru meeting before installation to discuss all the steps, plus texts with pictures of the installation while it was happening. The crew putting on the roof was also as nice and considerate as they can be. Really pleased with the whole process. Here's to never having to put on another roof again!

The Green Knight team is the way to go if you are wanting an affordable "forever" roof! Their staff were very friendly and professional from the initial estimate quote to the final walk-through. The team that came to our house were courteous throughout the day, not as loud as I thought it would be (working from home) and they were very thoughtful and cleaned up each day before they left, leaving gates and everything as before. It was amazing to still be able to enjoy our backyard as if they weren't ever there! The roof is amazing, and has such a quality to it- these folks definitely know their metal!!

I had a great experience with Green Knight. We had hail damage and were needing to get a new roof installed. I got quotes from a few different roofers and was really happy with the quote from Green Knight - even though it was a few dollars more. What I liked about Green Knight was that they were fully insured, they ONLY install metal roofs, and that they offered a warranty that I thought they could stand behind (as they have been in business for a couple of decades!). I was also happy with being able to lock in the price of the metal roof with my first deposit. My only initial hesitation was how they installed their roofing directly on the decking vs on furring strips. I actually called the metal roofing material manufacturer, and spoke with an engineer who let me know that this was a valid installation method. Overall - the installation process was super easy. It took a total of 6 days of work, and looks amazing. I would happily recommend Green Knight to others looking for a metal roof.

The 5 star rating comes with caveats. #1 stay actively engaged with your crew. There was an initial lack of communication about all the style options available to me i.e. (ridge caps and finishing trim) during the sales process - but once I got engaged with the crew and during the 'walk through' before the work began, there was common agreement on the craftsmanship details and everyone was quite responsive. (I opted for a low profile cap ridge look) The crew was fast, efficient, and respectful of my requests for certain finishing details.Those finishing touches on the metal roof (ridge caps and curb appeal features) were most important to me so I drove around town and took pictures of metal roofs I liked and they replicated the details. They cleaned the work area every day and that was fantastic. I hope they begin to build a portfolio of roofs they have done so you are most informed up front. #2 If you don't like a detail or have concerns speak up with the crew while the work is happening and they will make it right. #3 Their referral program is disappointing - you are told there is a $50 gift card for all referrals you make but it is not really a gift card - it is a $50 credit to select restaurants - a club membership and the $250 cash referral for those referrals who actually sign on is only for the new purchaser - not you. All in all, I got an incredible crew to work on my roof and their Director of Operations is the glue to everything positive that happened at my home. My home looks fabulous.

We chose Green Knight Metal Roofing to replace an existing metal roof on our recently purchased home. Unfortunately, we experienced some damage after a storm. The insurance company, as well as several independent inspectors, informed us our roof was never installed correctly to begin with and needed to be replaced. After having a few companies come out to bid the project, we found Green Knight Metal Roofing! Bret came out to conduct an inspection and to discuss the job. Bret had me sold! His explanation of his finding, detailed description of how the team would perform the job, and overall demeanor was all I needed. He stood out compared to the others we had out to the house. But… did the team come out and do the job Brett promised they’d do? ABSOLUTELY! We ran into an issue with the sub crew install team, but Joel (co-owner) came out and addressed the situation immediately. Joel was extremely professional and very polite in a time that was frustrating for us both. He treated our job as though it was being performed at his own house. We appreciated that. Joel also assigned Ismael to oversee the job on-site until it was completed. Ismael is hands down the best job sup we have ever had overseeing a project at any of our homes. He was very polite, professional, always on time, made the crews clean up, paid attention to the smallest details, and lead by example! After Joel, Ismael was the reason our roof came out the way it did. He was spectacular and definitely the kind of job sup you’d want either working for you, or looking after your project as a customer. Would I use Green Knight Metal Roofing again? Absolutely and without hesitation! In fact, I wouldn’t even consider anyone else to do the job. It was a big decision for us when trying to determine who would be the best fit for us and who would do the best work. Lots of folks over-promise, but under deliver. Not Green Knight Metal Roofing! I would not hesitate recommend Green Knight. I'd even leave 4.5 stars if possible. They just finished a metal roof install on my 1963 vintage house. The finished product looks fantastic, and we've had multiple rounds of thunderstorms pass through and all is good. The guys busted their rears scraping off FIVE layers of tar paper in the heat. God bless them. They got all the way down to plywood. I'm pretty mellow, so delays due supply issues, COVID, a super wet spring didn't bother me. Why 4.5 stars instead of 5? Well, here it is (yes, rather nit picky in the grand scheme of things). #1) The installers just showed up on a Monday without warning. There was a miscommunication in the office, so they started shingle removal without a dumpster on day 1. The dumpster showed up the next day. Other than this hiccup, communication was really, really on target. #2) Due to alignment issues, both vent stacks to the water heater (gas) and the furnace (gas) were disconnected at the appliance - from moving them on top of the roof. I would have gladly disconnected them to make the alignment easier. Thankfully I noticed that the water heater vent was disconnected (located in garage) and then checked the furnace. Carbon Monoxide is no joke. Check your vents when install is done. All in all, I'm very satisfied. I turned in my roof certificate to my insurance company. They're saying it's gonna save me over $500/yr!

Our experience with Green Knight was nothing but positive, beginning with our initial salesman, Brett, to the finished product. Ours was a relatively large roof (almost 8,000 sq feet) with lots of angles, skylights, etc. It rained shortly after demolition of the old roof began.. we had leakage inside the house in several places.. within minutes it seemed, Joel, the onsite supervisor was on the premises with 3 helpers up in the attic, while the roofers were up on the roof, in the rain, getting tarps over the exposed areas. There was a bit of ceiling discoloration afterward, but they quickly sent drywall and paint guys who did a very professional job of restoring everything back to normal. Once the job was complete, the crew spent a good half day making sure every nail and metal scrap was picked up and discarded. It was a long (almost 4 weeks) and anxious process, but Joel, Ishmael, and the crew were right on the job to remedy the numerous things that went wrong. This was likely the job from hell for this crew, but they persevered and the end result is a beautiful, natural finish roof that exudes quality and craftsmanship. We're confident we couldn't have chosen a better roofing company, and highly recommend to anyone considering a metal roof. Apparently metal roofs is the only thing they do, and they clearly have the entire process, including customer communication, down to a science! Dripping Springs

We had a great experience from start to finish. When we had Mark come out for a quote, he was really knowledgeable, professional, walked us through the process and explained things in a way we could easily understand what would be best for our roof. When the work was scheduled, the team was on time, kind, and thoughtful throughout the process. They made sure to clean up our deck from the nails and scraps that fell during removal of the old roof. They did great work and the roof looks perfect. They also did a great job of keeping us updated. After completion, Mark returned to check in and make sure everything went well. He personally took a final walk around to look for any missed nails or scraps as we have kids and dogs. Again he was very nice, professional and we are so happy with the final product! Top-caliber professionals! We'd been looking for a replacement roof for over a year. After multiple quotes from door-to-door salesmen who were trying to price us too high on shingle roofs or simply claiming that can cover a new roof with a storm damage insurance claim, I started noticing Green Knight sponsoring Brookhollow Elementary school events. My wife wanted a metal roof but I thought it'd be too expensive. Guys, listen to your wives! I was wrong, it turns out. Everything is warrantied, everyone is insured. This is a 0-risk company to do business with. They do everything above-board. They're honest, friendly, and affordable. GREAT COMPANY!! Green Knight just replaced our shingle roof with a standing seam metal roof. The longevity and attractive appearance of our new metal roof means we won't need to replace the roof on this house again, and it will increase the value when we sell. The company was thorough and professional from the first meeting to the final walkthrough. Brett took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped us decide what would work best for us. He developed a clear statement of work, then reviewed it with us and answered all our questions to make sure we shared a clear understanding of what to expect. Throughout the project, we were always kept up to date regarding the status of the project (including delays and issues that inevitably pop up). Andres, the project manager provided regular (usually daily) updates which always included asking if we had any questions, problems or concerns. The Green Knight installation crew was great. They arrived on time, did their job in a very efficient, professional and courteous way, and left the site neat and clean at the end of each day. Their skill, craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing. Our job included a complex roof area that we knew from the start would be a challenge. It took a lot of work and re-work get it right, but they brought in their sheet metal Jedi to create custom sheet metal parts that enabled a solution we're very pleased with. At the end of the job, they did a thorough inspection and detailing, ensuring that everything was completely sealed, screw heads were painted and any scratches were repaired using paint from the panel manufacturer. Having witnessed the craftsmanship and attention to detail during the installation, we don't anticipate needing to take advantage of their 5 year workmanship warranty, but it's evidence of the company's passion for quality service and customer satisfaction. We're very happy that we decided to step up from shingles to a metal roof and that we selected Green Knight as our contractor.

From beginning to end, there were issues all along the way. Thankfully Green Knight Metal Roofing was able to act as our advisor to ensure our original vendor corrected their work. We live in a one-story 3,300 sq ft home, which we built 26 years ago. We had an aluminum shingle roof that we loved. Recently, a neighbor's tree fell on our roof during a bad storm. The tree damaged about a 15-foot stretch of the roof. When we called out the insurance company, we discovered that the color/pattern of our shingles was no longer available--anywhere. After some deliberation, the insurance company decided to replace the entire roof. We selected Green Knight and a standing seam metal roof with a similar color/pattern to our original roof--faux oxidized copper (green with random gold mixed in). We first met with Bret Smith, Green Knight's production manager, and then Joel Kenty, chief strategist. Once we agreed on the product, pricing, and schedule, it was "off to the races". Bret told us that once the material was received (in 3-4 weeks), the job would take about 10 days, weather permitting. It actually took a bit longer--7 weeks--in part due to weather delays, shortage of material, and a much more complex roof pattern than anybody suspected. As the job progressed, I was most impressed by the skill and artistry of the crew (we had 6 crew working on the roof that entire time). They were not satisfied with anything less than absolute perfection. Every single day when they stopped work, they would tidy the place up. They picked up every bit of scrap and garbage, they tucked their tools, ladders, and material off to the side, and made sure everything was to our liking. Every day. In addition to the on-site crew, we were in regular contact with Bret and Andres Tirado, the off-site project manager, who frequently called or stopped by to see how things were going. Andres was always available to solve whatever immediate problem might have occurred. Despite the time the project took and the constant banging (our three cats may need professional help to get over the "shell-shock"!), we could not be happier. This roof is definitely made to last and look beautiful.

Green Knight did a fantastic, thorough job. They replaced our 45 yr old concrete tile roof. We had multiple issues as a result of our aging roof. Everyone associated with our project worked together to help solve the problems. We have a roof/upper deck connection that required custom metal fabrication. NO MORE LEAKS!!! The installation crew did an amazing job. Always on time, worked hard all day and always kept the work area clean when they left at the end of the day. We are very, very happy with our gorgeous new roof and how our house looks. THE BEST!!

Mark Pollak was extremely dependable. He was on time and paid attention to every detail. He was professional and went above and beyond anything we could have asked. After a recent hail storm Mark went out of way to check our roof because we were out of town. He returns our calls and answers questions promptly. We had a Kassel Shake roof installed. Not only is it beautiful but helps with the heat and air conditioning and the weather. The installation was incredibly efficient and amazing daily cleanup. The crews were fantastic--pleasant and very professional.

Green Knight replaced the roof on my house with a beautiful barrel style roof that looks like clay tiles but is metal. It has a fantastic warranty. They also replaced the roof and walls on a large metal building and a small shed. I am very happy with the work. Any questions or concerns I had throughout the process were immediately addressed. I didn't like a panel so they replaced it. They kept the job site around the house clean and the workers were professional and courteous. I highly recommend Green Knight.

Reliable roofing company, hard working and professional crew, these guys were thorough and cleaned up debris. However a site manager was not always present as promised, but they were available by phone. We are happy with the roof, thank you Green Knight!

My daughter had an emergency when her car caught on fire. She pulled into the first parking lot she could find which was Green Knight's lot. They grabbed a fire extinguisher and had the fire out by the time the fire truck arrived. She was pretty shook up and they really helped. It took two days for the insurance company to get the car towed and they never complained. Her car was totalled. Great friendly people who really went out of their way to help in a crisis. We had originally gone with a different company after almost choosing Green Knight Metal Roofing... Oh boy, what a mistake that was. After the botched job from the previous company, We had Brett and Shane come out to inspect the previous job and give us pricings and possibilities for fixing our metal roof. Not only did they immediately realize how bad a job the previous roofers had done, we were able to connect with them and we now feel confident that Green Knight Metal Roofing should have been the company to go with, instead. If you want a metal roof over your house, don't go for the cheap options, it will cost you more in the end. It was a hard lesson for us, don't let it be for you. CHOOSE Green Knight Metal Roofing!!!

Green Knight Metal Roofing has got to be one of the most thorough, professional companies I have ever dealt with. I've had plenty of negative experiences with roofers trying to find reliable people in Austin, and I was pleasantly surprised with my consultation with Brett. Brett was prompt, friendly and explained every detail of the roofing process with illustrations and samples for people like me who have absolutely no idea what goes into the roofing process. He ensured that all of my questions were answered at the end of the consultation and I was comfortable with the knowledge of the product. The photos of the projects they have completed speaks to their ability to do an amazing job. I would recommend Green Knight to any friends and family who are looking to replace or repair their roof. Great job, great communication, nice crew. The only suggestion I would have would be for someone to use a magnet bar and clean up all the metal shards around the property. We have kids and dogs and didn't discover all of it for a while, so I bought a metal magnet and did it. That said, a 5 star company from quote to finish and follow up.
